500,000th Reader Book Giveaway!

While some readers may see this as a garish ploy to attract more readers to my blog, as this blog approaches its 500,000th visitor,  I want to give away a book.  So here’s the deal: if you are number 500,000 I will send you a free book (I’ll give you some options and you can choose).

I figure that number 500,000 should visit sometime this week — spread the word!

Thanks for visiting and good luck!

  1. Pete Bekins says:

How exactly are you going to figure out who the 500,000th visitor is?

  2. All I will do is find out the ip address and other profile bits from my 500,000th visitor via sitemeter and then publish that profile and the visitor can identify him or herself. It’s a piece of cake.

I will also hide my sitemeter stats when it gets close so someone isn’t just refreshing their browser when they are close.

  3. Tom Nicholson says:

Is it me (or is it I) who gets the free book?

  4. Ben says:

No, it is I, the 500,000th reader!

  5. Joel says:

    Ummm…. how close are you?

  6. Qohelet says:

Well, I just hope it’s not something from Lee Strobel. Ugh. :p

  7. Rameumptom says:

The book isn’t a choice between your autobiography volumes one, two and three, is it?

  8. Its a choice between Dispensational Truth, Left Behind, and Late Great Planet Earth. Bahahahaha 😉

  9. Joel says:

I’m wanting something on the Septuagint Supremacy to ALL known bible translations. LXX-O is the only way to go.

  10. Shaun Tabatt says:

Hmm. This sounds like reverse psychology. With prize choices like that, the winner may offer to send you a book instead. 😉

  11. Tom Nicholson says:

Ben at no. 4 says it is I who gets the book!

    Thanks Ben!

Or we could be first equal, in which case “it’s we” 🙂

  12. Joel says:

Boo hisss the sitemeter is removed

Can you help me here? Did I get the free book?

  15. Nope, sorry. The free book is going to one J. Needham from Boulder, Colorado.
