It is a Hebrew name so I never imagined I would have so much trouble finding it written correctly!

I think it is fair to say it is more closely related to the Eli line of priests
It is very tantelising wondering where or how the Egyptian names came from

It is also worth noting that Shilo was thought of as a place of non-Israelite Yahweh worshipe – hence teh tribe of Binyamin were encouraged to take brides from their after th ewar with the other tribes recounted at the end of the book of Judges

Solomon had removed the Shiloites from the role of co-Chief Priest and gave sole control to the Zadokites.
